About
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my work. I’m HD (Heather Delaney).
I live nomadically, full-time traveling in an RV across North America with my husband, David, and dog, Kipling. I’ve also lived in and traveled through 35+ countries and am always exploring the curious turns of the human condition.
As a self-taught artist in both photography and fiber, I strive to create more and consume less as a way to resist our attention economy.
In my sculptural needle-felting work, I strive to blend the natural world with surrealist whimsy and invite contemplation about the reality we occupy.
Walking- along countryside paths, through cities, on the beach, or up mountains - is one of my favorite things to do. I also like learning folklore, history, and making up dumb songs about the dog.
